The 8th edition of Potsdam’s Further Education Day 2018 attracted numerous visitors to the Stern-Center Potsdam on 21 September 2018. Educational institutions at the 28 stands handed out advice to companies and individuals about staff development in companies and offered hands-on help with regard to career entries, re-entries and professional advancements. In addition to the advice given by the individual providers, independent educational guidance services regarding suitable educational paths and financing options were also offered.
During a tour of the fair, invited guests were given the opportunity to learn more about the exhibitors’ latest products and services and trends in the field of education: ranging from traditional face-to-face courses to computer-aided further education. Among other things, the exhibitors, who were visited by the invited guests, presented retraining courses in the field of railway transport and educational programmes with a focus on the digital transition in agriculture. During the subsequent feedback session the guests summarised their newly acquired knowledge and talked about current developments.
